Pre-cooked meats Precooking meats saves time and money!

1.      Buy 10-15 lbs of ground beef at a time and brown at least 5lbs and put it in the freezer in ½ lb Baggies. This saves 20-30 minutes of cooking time. It takes about 8-10 minutes to defrost meat, 8-10 minutes to brown ground beef and 7-10 minutes to clean up.

2.      Roast two chickens at a time and pick all the meat off one and freeze in ½ lb Baggies for when you need cooked chicken. This saves apx. 45 minutes of cooking time. It takes about 10-12 minutes to defrost meat, 20-35 minutes to cook chicken and 12-15 (due to sanitizing) minutes to clean up.

3.       Freeze breads and defrost as needed

4.      Cheese

5.       Onions, green peppers (these can be found cut and frozen in the freezer section)

6. Never throw away cooked meat just bag it, freeze it, and label it and put it in the deep freeze to use the next time you need cooked chicken, shredded beef etc.....
